Welcome to City Kabob, where tradition, family, and community come together.

Opened in November 2025 in Manassas Park, Virginia, City Kabob is the newest chapter in a family story that spans over 20 years in the restaurant business. Founded by Mohammad and Komail Abbasi, we are proud to bring the authentic flavours of Afghanistan to a city we deeply respect and call home.

We are also the owners of Kabul Kabob House in Bristow and Haymarket, Virginia, restaurants known for their consistency, quality, and hospitality. While we considered using the same name, we chose City Kabob to honour the city of Manassas—a way of giving back to the community that welcomed us with open arms.

Our Story

Our food is rooted in generations of Afghan tradition. Every kabob, rice dish, and sauce is prepared with care, patience, and time-honored recipes using fresh, high-quality ingredients. For us, cooking is more than a craft—it is a way to share our culture.
